Affinity - Already registered to an Affinity account when trying to connect

I am trying to set up an affinity account as I now have more than one company that I need to have an account for. When I try to add the profile of my existing account it tells me that it is already registered to an affinity account - but how can this be?

Did we complete any year-end accounts for this company? If so it may be connected to our own internal Affinity account?

Actually I can see this was the case so I have now released it from our Affinity.
