We seem to have an issue where our Aged Debtors and Creditor reports do not correspond to the Debtors and Creditors Control Account, and there were no journals posted to those accounts during the period.
Our accountants suggest that it is a bug in the system - could you investigate please.

It’s always worth double checking prepayments to suppliers or from clients.
It’s also worth noting that if you’re looking at the chart of accounts, it only takes into account activity in the period you’re viewing. Any activity outside of that period obviously wouldn’t be shown there but would still be taken into account on the reports.
