We are about to launch a new product and our information so far indicates that we could have 100’s of new customers getting first a ‘free trial’ then 1 month later signing up and buying the product.
Would there be any way for the ‘new customer’ to enter details on our website, then our website using quickfile to setup the new customer account, Gocardless DD, take the payment, allocate the payment to the invoice, setup a recurring invoice etc - with only minimum interaction with a human?
There is a way to set up a customer, recurring invoice and direct debit (which would also tag the payment too) from outside of QuickFile. However, it would require a bit of a coding knowledge.
We have an API available (full details here) which offers functionality to do things such as this.
This could:
Create a new customer
Create a new recurring invoice
Get a link to activate a direct debit via GoCardless
The best thing to do is to have a look at the API docs as this would show you what you’re able to achieve.
Let me know if you need further help, or if you would like the API daily limit increased on your account.
This is exactly what we would like to use from our website. Unfortunately, we don’t have the coding knowledge so we would like some help in assigning the API to our site.
Thanks
