Bank Payments not logging to P&L

When salaries are paid we normally record a payment within the bank account. This worked well from 01/04/15 to 01/11/15 but although the payments shown up on the banking side, from 01/11/15 they are not recorded in the P&L.

I suspect this is likely to be down to a setting on your account.

If you go to Account Settings >> Advanced Features, there’s an option there that specifies how QuickFile should handle salaries:

If this feature is switched off, an entry is logged to the P&L report.
If this feature is switched on, an entry is only logged on the balance sheet.

If you are entering your own payroll journals, then it’s best to leave this option on. Otherwise, you may wish to switch it on. This doesn’t affect any entries previously created.
