Employee wages advance payment

How do I record a cash advance to an employee?
I use payroll for the PAYE and can see how to subtract the cash amount paid, but unsure of how to record this in quickfile?

I suspect it would be a simple case of just logging the payment on the bank and then balancing out when your run your payroll. I’m not an accountant though so I would seek some other opinions first.
