GoCardless Date Query

Just wanted to check - it may be me getting confused with something.

I have a recurring invoice that’s just been raised, set to collect the money via Go Cardless 7 days after the invoice is raised (in this case it was raised 3rd May, to my understanding it initiates the request with Go Cardless on 10th May)

However, on the top of the invoice, it says this (which I believe is correct)

While Go Cardless, says this:

So, is the “initiate payment after x days”, actually take the funds from the customers account, or to start the whole process with Go Cardless?

In this case we send the “charge at date” to GoCardless as the 10th May, the scheduling you see on GoCardless then works around that date so that the customer gets charged on the 10th. This means that the process must me initiated earlier.

As the 10th is a Sunday the actual date the funds will leave your customers account will be Monday the 11th.
