How do I account for money I want to put into Petty Cash Account

I have made some small purchases from petty cash, but how to I credit the petty cash account on QF so I can use it to pay the invoices.

if you have booked purchase invoice, you need to go to purchase screen and log cash payment

or you can go to petty cash and tag payment to relevant expense categories

Hi Marcus,
I often draw £100 out of the bank account to use for cash purchases, and enter that on quickbooks by tagging the bank account transaction as a transfer from the current account to the petty cash account

That’s the way I was thinking of doing it. It makes sense to me that way.
