Our accountant has noticed that net wages are being posted to the P&L account 7003. When I investigated this it seems that they are going to ‘Net wages’ 2220 but then being moved automatically to 7003. How do I prevent this happening?
Yes this can be done.
To stop QuickFile making a simultaneous posting to 7003 go to Account Settings >> Company Settings and click on the “Advanced Features” tab.
You can then check the box “Post Net Wages to Balance Sheet”. This will then only post to 2220 without the additional posting to 7003.
