I have the app Gem Authenticator on my iphone, I am about to update my phone to Iphone 7, but other than backing up the data on my current phone, how do i set up gem authenticator account on my new phone, without locking myself out of the quickfile account - i am the account administrator. one who shouldnt be left alone with an iphone for a start!
Go back to the activation page (account settings, all settings, 2 factor authentication) and print out the QR code.
When I set up 2 step auth in the first place I printed out a paper copy of the activation QR code and stored it in a safe place. If my phone ever dies I can use that to set up another phone to use instead.
