Is there a way of setting up 5 digit Nominal Accounts Codes - as this is what my company use?
Also ideally I would like to set our own ranges of what purchases (7**** or 8****) and sales (5****) are - is there any way I can do this - or I am just gonna have to put old code number in name of cost code)

The QuickFile system runs on a 4 digit nominal code setup, so unfortunately 5 digits can’t be used at this time.
Similar situation with the ranges - some of these are baked into the core parts of the system (e.g. reporting, tagging of certain items), so these ranges are fixed.
You can however create your own codes into the predefined ranges.
