Ability to add Project Tag to Purchace or invoice after VAT return submitted

Hi

I can’t add a project tag to purchases or invoices after the related VAT return has been submitted.
I need to do this retrospectively for a number of items so I can assess value of particular projects.
Is there a way to do this without rolling back the VAT return?
As this is not a part of the financial ‘lockdown’ and nothing to do with HMRC interface etc.
can it be enabled/allowed in the near future?

We don’t restrict the modification of project tags at any point.

You can add them using the original method, by pointing your mouse at the top right hand corner:

If you click on the little label to add or modify project tags, it will open a little box for you to create/add and amend project tags for that document.
