All our sales are sent by post and our T&Cs state “P&P at £x will be added”.
We have a template invoice yet that covers our normal statutory info and I now want to add “P&P £xx” as a default item prefilled in every invoice we produce. This it to save time and ensure we always use the correct amount and never forget it. Is this possible?
Hello @Remidiah it is not possible to prefill an invoice with an item,
You can however set up a Sales inventory item (“Postage” etc) when you then create an invoice you would just enter the item ref and it would prefill the line for you.
Or you can just create a draft invoice with the relevant lines and then create invoices by copying this instead of using the default QF buttons. If you have a Power User Subscription you could probably tweak the layout to make this happen when you click the create invoice buttons.
Still just a workaround though.
