Add Funds To Director's Loan Account

In my end of year accounts my accountant has identified some money owing to me from the company. I already have a small negative balance in my Director’s Loan Account, so this will become more negative with the extra funds owing.

However, how can I add the new funds to my DLA? If I make a transfer from the company current account to the DLA then it shows as a reduction on the current account balance and throws my bank account reconciliation out of alignment.

So how do I increase the money owed to me in the DLA without affecting other account balances? I don’t necessarily want to draw the money owed yet, just have it logged and available to me.

Scratch that, I realised I can ‘Input New Transaction’ on the DLA page.
