Adding a team member but e-mail already registered

Hi,
I’m trying to give my accountant access to my books but when I try to set her up as a team member I get the message:

This Email address has already been registered

She’s obviously signed up herself as she does other people’s accounts from quickfile. Is there a workaround to this or am I doing it wrong?
