Hi all, I have £0.19 of interest to add to my bank account statement; how do I add it? I assume it can’t be a sales invoice!
Tag it as “something else not on the list”, I’m not sure whether there’s an “interest” nominal by default but if not you can create one from your chart of accounts in the sales section.
Nominal 4010 ‘interest received’ is in the chart of accounts under sales. That’s what I use.
Thanks for the confirmation - my QuickFile account was set up many years ago and I remember they reduced the default set of nominals since then so I don’t know what’s there by default and what isn’t these days.
