Affinity Login and Administrator issue

For some reason, one of my users has been unable to access one of the companies through Affinity. I thought it might be that he had to be a user in the company itself but I cannot add him as he is already a user in another company within Affinity. My first question is do Team Members need to be registered in the individual companies to access them via affinity or is it sufficient that they are team members within Affinity?

My second question is that I have inadvertently made the agent email an administrator and cannot make myself the administrator again.

Please advise.
