Allocating wages to more than one category

How do I allocate wages to more than one category, as in 50% of the wage to one category and 50% to another?

If you want to do anything more complex with wages than just 100% of the gross pay going to the employee then you’re best doing it properly with journals. What exactly do you need to record?

We have an employee who works for the business and the landlord (who is also a partner of said business), so I need to split his wages for the two kinds of work.
