API: Bank Search unable to return initial bank transactions

The following end point is not returning my bank transactions from earlier than 21-Feb-2020: https://api.quickfile.co.uk/1_2/bank/search

I take it that it may be limiting the transaction to only last 2 years.

I tested this functionality couple weeks ago and I was definitely getting the transactions from 08-Nov-2019 onwards, which is more than 2 years.

Is this a new change introduced in the latest release?
If so, could I pls request the option of older transactions to be restored, or at least provide an option with like a “DateFrom” field to request older transactions.

Hi @p4rasite

The Bank_Search endpoint will act the same as the bank search - limited to 2 years by default, unless a date range is specified.

You may also want to take a look at the Ledger_Search endpoint which doesn’t have this default setting.

I’ve asked for the documentation to be updated to make this clearer.
