Occasionally I notice one of my journal entries being reversed without being set up to do so.
Today it happened again so I tried to find out why and discovered its a bug.
When creating a new journal for an end of year event, the system enters the current date as the Journal date, however when I attempt to change the current date (see video below) to the clients end of year date it does not change the date in the Journal date box, instead the new date appears automatically in the Auto reverse Date box as per this video
