Automatic invoice reminder not being send

Hi all, I have set up automatic email for over due alerts at 7, 14 and 28 days but this system does not appear to be sending - can any one help? all other emails are sending correctly. Also if there is a way to manually send each email please let me know as I am not able to figure it out.

When you update the automatic invoice reminder schedule it will only be applied to invoices issued after the schedule was updated. You can manually check or modify a schedule specific to an invoice within the invoice management area.
