Bank account in euros

Dear all,
I have a bank account in Euros with an opening balance.
I have recorded the amount of the previous closing balance in my opening journal in GBP

How must I create my new bank account ? with the opening balance in EUR or the amount converted in GBP ?

If I create the bank account with a EUR opening balance, how do I reconciliate my account opening journal ?

If you enter an opening balance on a Euro account via a journal it will not show on the bank activity and make it harder to reconcile (it would only show in the chart or accounts).

You can enter a opening balance in Euros on the bank via Options > Settings
