Does Quickfile now automatically extend bank feed duration on request without needing confirmation from the banks? Just had three feeds extending when I only asked for one. It’s not a problem, in fact much easier but I couldn’t find notification of the change.
You have to renew the connection to each bank separately - that’s fundamental to the way open banking works, you authenticate directly with your bank and grant a time limited token to QuickFile for the feed, and you are the only person who can renew that token when it expires.
But if you have several accounts with the same bank then they all share the same authorisation token - it’s the token you are renewing, not the individual accounts that the token covers.
That’s exactly what I thought but I ticked to renew Santander and it renewed Wise and Amex as well, without my having to visit any bank site to confirm. They all show 90 days until renewal is required.
