Hi @pjanes

What bank did you import the CSV file from?

It may be that the banks have changed something which is throwing it off, so you may need to use the ‘Other’ option when importing.

If you’re unsure, feel free to send me a private message (click my name and then ‘Message’), and I’ll take a look for you

Hi Matthew, it is Metro Bank. I have got around the issue by seperatly adding each transaction manually and then deleting the imported transactions but as you can imagine, its taken ages!

any work around for the future would be much appreciated.

cheers.

Hi Phil

If you select ‘Other’ from the drop down list of banks, it will allow you to map each column of the CSV file separately. It adds an extra step to the import, but it should help

Hi Matthew, that’s exactly what I did and every payment in to and out of the account is showing in the correct column except for the bank charges. I even checked the csv file which I exported from my Internet banking and all the bank charges are correct on there. It really is very strange!

Cheers.

Hi Phil

Are you able to send me a copy of the CSV file in a private message please and I’ll look into this further?
