I was just wondering if it would be possible to put a sort by reference within the bank tagging process, I know at the moment we can order by date or amount.
I’ve just imported 644 items from a bank statement to back date it all to the year start date for my client, many of the items are salary and have been made by faster payments, so if I could put them in alphabetical order and then bulk tag each employee it would be fabulous, and super fast to reconcile loads of items.

I will leave this open for others to add their vote/comment. I honestly don’t think ordering by reference will be straight forward as this column is text-based and in some cases quite long so the database performance wouldn’t suffer. If it’s becomes a more popular request we will look into this further.
