Bank Tagging Rules - Added after transactions imported

Hi,
Bank Tagging rules haven’t been working recently? I can create the rule, whilst creating the rule, it says at the right side (We found xx matching transactions). Can click on this and it shows a preview of matching transactions.
However, once saved, and when going through the bank statement, the transactions aren’t matched and says ‘Tag Me’ in red at the side. I’m not looking to Auto Tag, just have the rules match so I can simply press ‘Confirm’, like it used to work.

Did you import the bank feed first and then created the tag rules? if yes then it will work with next bank feed.

Ah ok, didn’t know that. Yea, I created the rules after importing. Funnily enough I did the same thing twice after deleting the rules and recreating them after doing the import thinking that there was a problem with the rules I created!

So there’s no way to get the system to rescan the untagged bank transactions that are already there and apply the rules?

No it wont apply to bank feed already uploaded, unless you can delete bank eateries and upload feed again

Possibly have this as a feature to be implemented in the future? Rules to apply to all transactions, not just newly imported?

back word changes are disaster, imagine product price changes and it would update already issued invoices. History once recorded never changes
