Hi i have noticed that i have not had the automatic bank feeds from Barclays since 27th March - i am now getting the following message
This bank feed is not currently active, to reactivate please save the feed
Reason for deactivation: Feed disabled: unable to access on 3 consecutive attempts.
I have reactivated this (i think!) - I am hoping that this is down to maintenance at Barclays as seen on other posts and this should now work?
As a precaution, if we can’t connect to Barclays on 3 consecutive attempts we will pause the feed, this is to prevent an account getting locked due to the credentials being wrong.
Sometimes however Barclays will change something at their end that will break the feed. There were issues a week or so ago when Barclays redesigned their CSV download process, so I would have assumed this locked your feed originally.
The feed is scheduled to run again tomorrow at 1 am so please let us know if this hasn’t resolved the problem.
hopefully found it and set new memorable words changed on quick file - don’t bother to do manually glen i can wait until tonight - i will let you know if i am still having problems
I tried to quickly run the feed as I didn’t want to further delay you, we’re getting a slightly different error now. It’s saying the passcode or memorable word is incorrect. Please would you double check this on QuickFile? Make sure if you’re copying and pasting you’re not including any extra spaces at the beginning or end.
Hi Glenn - I have typed in the new passcode and memorable word which is now 8 letters and saved it on quick file however when i go back to check my feed settings it has defaulted back to a 5 letter memorable word - not sure if the passcode change has saved as this is still 5 numbers?
It always shows 5 dots but I can see it’s storing the full 8 characters. Please ensure you can login manually using pin sentry as we’re still having issues here connecting.
