Base currency

HI here,
I have read the forum and it says its not possible to change base currency. I’m now moving my business to Holland and need to deal in Euros. Could somebody please confirm this. Otherwise I will need to get a new accountancy package.

Hi @Mootb

QuickFile’s base currency is GBP as it’s designed and tailored for UK based businesses. Unfortunately there is no way to change this.

If you can deal with your base pricing in GBP (reports etc.) then you can use the multi-currency features to invoice in EUR and others.

Thanks - its a great shame - I will double check with my Dutch accountant - I think it will cause to much work for me - it terms of working out currency fluctuations.
