Bookkeeping eBay and WHMCS customers

I have two main income streams, eBay sales and through WHMCS (web hosting and related services).

I moved to QuickFile as it has the eBay feed and allows me to account for actual turnover minus expenses, whereas previously my bank feed only included net sales.

My WHMCS account has customers pay by GoCardless and Stripe. I created similar holding accounts as to eBay.

A customer has paid through GoCardless but nothing has appeared in the holding account. I also added them as a QF customer and included their mandate ID but still nothing.

Does QF not really take the GoCardless feed as it does with a bank and eBay? Is Stripe the same? (Haven’t had a Stripe transaction since setting this up last week.)

  • Go cardless transactions will only show up if done through QuickFile

  • Stripe is a live feed and will only show fully booked/cleared transactions from the point it was set up
