Have mistakenly deleted journal entries. How can they be reinstated? (was trawling through banking and tagged wrong name, deleted the journal entry and now doesn’t even appear on accounts statement!)

Unfortunately the journal deletion can’t be undone - you would need to re-enter the journals.
Do you have back ups enabled on your account? This may help with setting them back up.
Thanks for the speedy replies! I uploaded a fresh qif bank statement from Santander. The screen now shows duplicates of everything shown on first statement (the one for which the query arose). What now? Should I similarly delete all duplicate entries, one by one? Statement also shows many lines upto 4 times, affecting the account balance. These items were inputted into ‘general purchases’. Is it something to do with being tagged?
