Cannot delete recurring purchase profile

Hi.
I’ve created a recurring purchase profile a while ago (previous financial year).

It’s no longer valid.

Initially I archived it thinking it would stop the purchases auto generating but this hasn’t been the case. The software still creates them monthly.

I’ve tried to delete it but I get the error: “Transactions could not be deleted as they are currently locked or have been refunded”.

How do I delete the recurring profile. I’m happy for the transactions that were created in the past to remain. I just want to avoid future ones being created.

I’ve tried to “un-archive” by choosing the “restore selected option” for the profile but just get the error “14263643” which doesn’t really help.

Sounds like you are trying to actually delete/archive the original invoice, not the profile. Go to Purchases > Recurring Purchases and disable it there.

I managed to sort it out. You actually have to click in to the purchase invoice then click on amend schedule and then set it to finish to a previous date. That seems to have done the trick.

Bit of an odd UX choice by Quickfile that, the purchases work in a totally different way to the sales.
