Cannot get consent for HMRC/Quickfile

I have tried to get authorisation for quickfile / HMRC. I have entered the company ID for VAT and password. HMRC sends the access code and asks to continue which I do. On a new page it asks to authorise or not authorise. I select authorise and it comes back not authorised. What do you think is the problem.
I can go onto the government gateway by logging on direct with the same ID and password and it’s excepted.

Make sure you havent got more than one failed account link in quickfile. Even if you enter the correct details in one, it will fail.

So delete any attempts first.

Make sure to pick organisation and not individual.
