Can't Delete Transactions

Hope this is approximately the right place to post this.

I’ve been using Quicfile for about 18 months. Tonight I’ve come to delete a few transactions because I entered them with the wrong date. These are banking transactions.

When I click delete I get the popup with a tick but it says ‘0 transactions deleted’.

These are not in a locked period and were entered a few days ago.

Just wondered if anyone is experiencing the same? I’ve tried in a couple of different browsers.

I have deleted transactions before but it is of course possible that I’ve completely lost the plot and am doing something wrong!

Generally a transaction is locked for 2 reasons:

  • VAT return
  • Before a locked period (e.g. year end)

There are a few other things that may block it, such as if the transaction is tagged to an invoice which has been converted to a credit note.

The transaction(s) you’re trying to delete - how are they tagged at the moment?
