Can't find contacts listed when tagging a transaction

When I try to tag a transaction relating to me I start entering my surname and am offered 4 options - I can only find two of these in the client admin list - I am a system admin, primary contact for our ‘home’, I am also primary contact work my work - is there a way of merging the contacts but not the clients? or can a client name be listed alongside the contact name in the drop down? - my only solution is to have client names entered after the contact surname at present
