Can't move invoice from draft if no email is entered?

HI there, i have noticed i can’t tag a payment from banking as the invoice is only saved as a draft. I cant clear it unless an email address is entered. is this correct?

Hi @oneillms

You will need the invoice to be “SENT” or “PARTIALLY PAID” to be able to tag a payment to it - you can’t do this with a draft invoice.

You don’t need an email address for this however. When viewing the preview of the invoice, select “Send” and then “Flag invoice as sent”, and this will update it for you.
