Any idea what is happening here ?
You have probably completed the year end process for year ending 31/03/2025. You have to undo that by deleting the relevant journal to add transactions, but are you sure that is what you want as presumably you might have done your accounts on the locked basis?
Hi. Martin
I have not completed the year-end process.
My year-end is March 2026 and still open

John
Hi @John_Charnock1 . But presumably 31/03/2025 is your previous year end. Have you closed that one off yet? I would have thought so as you’ll probably have needed to submit to Companies House by the end of December 2025.
Perhaps you haven’t done Year End Process but have you gone to account/lockdate and set that date there?
It is set by the year end process but can be manually set too.
As @martinprice mentioned, it’s a lock that’s put in place, typically when you run the year end process.
It can also be put in place manually. You can check by going to Account Settings >> All settings, and going to the Account lock date option.
You can adjust the date there. If it’s locked by a year end process, you should then see an error message telling that this is the case. If that does happen, you would have to undo the year end process before you can push the lock date back.
