Can't send email by invoice

Hi, When I try and send an invoice I get a message saying “email failed to send! Check email format is valid”, is there a problem with the system as it was working fine earlier this morning ? I’ve also entered and activated my smtp setting for emails to be routed through my provider but the emails which are being sent (when its working) are still showing they’re from the Quickfile email address and not our email address as entered. Any help would be appreciated. Thx Stuart
