Capturing Credit Union Transactions

Hi,

  1. How should I define the accounts related to a credit union that is bank or cash or other? (at this time I am nor sure if they use Sort code or equivalent or the pattern of account numbers)
  2. Are Credit Unions a facility that QF does/can/could connect to under the Open Banking Interface Feeds banner?

Hello @NDG1944

Cash accounts are used for physical cash so I would assume you would use a bank account.

A full list of banks that we offer bank feeds for can be found at the link below.

Hi,
I am not sure this really answers my questions. I have frequently checked the list of supported banks as a first port of call when introducing a new banking (true or pseudo) organisation.
Even if it is not in the list of those with open banking support I still need to understand were in the chart of accounts credit union accounts are assigned nominal codes so that they appear as assets AND if I can import bank style statements for them.

If the are set up as bank accounts in the banking window, they would show as assets and they would allow you to import bank style statements.
