Change account to landlord bookkeeping

I would like to change my account to landlord bookkeeping. I am a power subscriber and would like to migrate across - how do I do this? looked in the account settings but its not showing up?

Hello @DEAL

If you already have a sole trader account with QuickFile and you’d like to enable the landlord features, we have a tool for migrating to a landlord account. You can find this option in the “Account Settings” area.

At this time only sole trader accounts can migrate to a landlord account. We further recommend that you isolate any landlord activities to a single QuickFile account, keeping it separate from any other business activities. During migration all your existing account data and functionality will remain unchanged, the landlord dashboard does not replace your main QuickFile dashboard.

For other business types (Limited company, partnership etc) you would have to set up a new QuickFile account using the company type “Landlord”. as once a company type has been set up it can not be changed.

Being a small Ltd company that owns property do I use “Limited” or “Landlord”? But selecting “Landlord” shows “Use this option if you are a private landlord (non-Limited company) …” - why? As in QuickFile is a no-go for my use? From reading of forums I like the feature of Landlord but don’t know what implications this would have on Ltd accounting. Please help me choose.
