I am changing the end date of my previous financial year. I want Quickfile to reflect this and I can see how to change my current year end date, just not how to do this for a previous financial year.
I’m not aware of having done year end journals before, unless there is an automatic one.

Providing you have no locks or year end journals on the account, you can simply amend the next year end date under Account Settings >> Company Settings. You should be able to specify the year as well.
What I would advise, is locking your accounts and running the year end tool when you close off each period. If needed, adjust the year end once you’ve locked that period.
If you try to change the date to something which isn’t possible, because of a locked period or year end journal, then it will give you an error.

I’ve looked at this route, but what it says is "Your Next Year End date"
But what I want is the previous year end date and not sure how to access this.
Could you have a look and advise?
