Changing Next Year End Date

Hi
My company Year End Date is showing as 31/03/2018 in the Company Settings tab - I have tried to change it to 31/03/2017. I make the change to 2017 and save the changes but it reverts back to 2018 as soon as I change screens.
Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi @ping

The year end date in your settings is your next year end. As 31/03/2017 is in the past, your next year end would be 31/03/2018.

Any reports will still use this date but will give you an option of years, where possible.

I think I may have found the solution which was to change the date of the closing tb to 01/03/2016 from 31/03/2016. This then allowed me to see the closing tb as part of the 01/04/2015-31/03/2016 company year so that I could Year End in Quickfile.
Fingers crossed this doesn’t mess anything else up!
