Client Messages

I have received 2 e-mails from mail@post.quickfile.co.uk informing me that 2 clients have sent me messages and details the contents of the messages. However, I cannot find the messages in Quickfile to reply to them. They used to show in the top corner of the screen next to the Company Name. Has the link been moved or removed?

The messages are just sent through to you by email, they don’t appear in your account.

The email you receive should have a note at the top stating who the email came from. You would just have to reply to them directly.

Account settings, tools, my messages. If that is what you mean?

No they are not there, some old messages are but the last one was back in April, the ones sent today are not in there

Thank you Mathew for the info but they always have done in the past. I have found old ones in Account Settings, Tools, My Messages as advised by Eddie. If I open old messages I have the option to reply to them. However the two new messages sent by my customers today have not appeared in the My messages area

There are 2 ways your clients can reply to you -

  1. They view the invoice and use the “Query Invoice” or “Query Estimate” button. This is this sent through to you to the internal messaging centre

  2. They reply to an email (e.g. when you send them a new invoice). This used to come directly to you, but this was changed to come through to you through the mail@ email that you’ve received.
