I’m assuming you’re searching for something like “EUR” in this case - would that be correct? If that’s the case, it means it’s matched on both the reference and the client name.
If you were to search for “EURO”, I would expect only the top line would show (the one without the reference).

EUROTOOLS LIMITED (EUR02)
and so on, seems daft finding same record twice…

Not all clients have a matching reference - it’s a free text field, so some accounts may have some like “0005” for example, or even from a previous trading name. In this instance, it would only appear once.
