Connection timeouts

Tried to create a new client contact but have been waiting on this screen for almost 10 minutes now

Can you access anything else, such as listing sales or bank feed?
I can log in but thatā€™s about it. If I click any link I get a timeout error:

Ah, it seems theā€™re experiencing an outage in the main app:
https://status.quickfile.co.uk/

Shows on the status page all is ok, but Iā€™m still getting 500 error.

500 - The request timed out.

The web server failed to respond within the specified time.

I can get to the dashboard, but nothing else is working?

It started to be unstable for me shortly before midnight last night - dashboard and purchase list pages worked but bank accounts and viewing of files attached to invoices/purchases didnā€™t.

Iā€™m trying to create a new VAT return. Iā€™m just getting the ā€˜Connecting to HMRCā€™ on screen and the console is showing 500 errors on the following two network connections:

http s://myquickfiledomain.quickfile.co.uk/menu/get?=<13 digit timestamp>
http s://myquickfiledomain.quickfile.co.uk/Hmrc/organisation/VatReport/<4 digit number>?origin=vr&status=O&
=<13 digit timestamp>
[I had to obfuscate the https above because the forum doesnā€™t allow me to post links]

These both return an error: ā€œ500 - The request timed outā€ which implies an upstream issue - e.g. with MTD. However no user error message is shown.

Gov site says MTD is fully available and Quickfile status shows all systems operational including HMRC connection but clearly something is not right.

Anyone from QF support who can help sort this out or figure out what the issue is? Iā€™ve used this for years with no issue.

Hi

When I click print, i get the ā€˜generating PDFā€™ seem and swirling wheel, but no PDF is generated?

Is this something other users are seeing too?

thanks in advance

andrew

Good morning

Please accept our apologies for the issues you have seen. Our team identified an issue and is in the process of resolving this.

In the meantime, we have had to undo a recent update as a precaution. If you are still seeing errors this morning, it may be cached, but it should resolve itself after a few minutes.

Weā€™re continuing to work on this. Thank you for your patience.
