Cost of birth certificate

I need to provide a copy of my birth certificate to an agency, would I be able to purchase it via my Ltd company as the contract is between the agency and my company?

My thought would be that a birth certificate is a personal item rather than something that the company owns, so even though the business would need to supply it, I don’t believe it could claim it as expenses.

Note - I’m not an accountant, so it’s worth checking with one to be sure

I don’t think you can claim for the cost of the birth certificate directly, but you can claim for personal expenses directly incurred, so in a roundabout way you can.
