Create a test instance

Hi,
I have a working system that I dont want to ‘test’ new import transaction on in case wrong and messes up.
Is there a way to create a sandbox type environment whereby I can have a copy of my existing but if I mess up then I dont have to go through deleting transactions etc? I also would like a system rather than empty, being one with all of my existing trasnsactions? Maybe I have to build one from a backup?
My transactions are currently manual and I want to explore the ability of importing them from excel files or similar and having them auto created?

Hi,
You could create a second account and upload your last backup. But it will not be a 100% copy of your account because style and so are not backed up.

But I would say if you go this way it makes things more complicated. It is not complicated to rectify a mistake in your account which came through an upload.
And I guess is something going wrong in your test account then you will delete/rectify it anyway. In my eyes it would be to much work with a second “test” account. But it is of course up to you.
