Hi - my credit card has a live feed, as does my bank. I pay a fixed sum each month towards my credit card - on my bank statement page this appears as a direct debit to Barclaycard. However if I click ‘confirm’ when tagging it, this payment shows up twice on the Barclaycard statement page, once as a direct debit paid to the card, and again as a transfer from my current account. How should I deal with this?

The most likely reason is when you select bank transfer and pick either the bank account or credit card account (whichever one your doing it from) it should then give you a drop down of matching transactions. If you don’t pick the matching one. It will add a transaction to the account. Hense why you have two transactions appearing.
Are both transactions on the same date?
