Credit Note Problem

I’ve recently raised a credit note against an invoice which was paid via Stripe.
The credit note has been allocated to the invoice which now shows as refunded.

However, no refund has been issued via Stripe and there are no “prepayments” showing for the credit note amount, so where has the credit gone to?

I’ve detached the Stripe payment from the original invoice and this seems to have solved the problem.
