Hi, I have now had 2 customers that have been unable to pay their invoices online as they say that the option to pay via Stripe isn’t working. (They have both used the system before with no issues). I have used the system to impersonate the customers and the payment system seems to work fine. They have sent me a screenshots and although it looks slightly different (they were using phones), it appears that the continue button is missing so they can’t then enter their card details. I have a few other clients that haven’t paid their invoices and am now wondering if there is a problem with certain platforms where the button isn’t displaying properly? Has anyone else had a similar problem recently?
Hi @adamh0
I’ve just given this a go on my end on my phone and the “continue” button appears ok for me.
Are you able to upload a screenshot of what you’re seeing, please? Just to make sure I’m looking in the right place. Please block out any confidential information on there before uploading.
Hi, thank you for your response. The image I have uploaded is what the customer sent me. He said that whatever part he tried clicking on, nothing happened. When I logged in as the customer, there was no problem and the Stripe logo is displayed with a continue button (which when pushed, allows you to enter card details and pay.
Hello @adamh0
As we or yourself are unable to replicate the issue it may be something local on the clients end
I would reccomend asking them to test the below
- Try an alternate browser
- Try incognito mode (ctrl +shift +n)
- Try an alternate computer
- Try your mobile phone browser
Or alternatively ask them to pay by an alternative method on this occasion if they are unable/unwilling to test.
Hi, thank you for your response. I had another customer today who had difficulty paying an invoice. He said the same thing (that there was nothing to push (e.g continue or pay button). He was using an iPhone (as were the other customers that had trouble) so it would appear to be something related to using an iphone to pay. I asked the customer today to try a different device and when he used a laptop and it worked perfectly. I have no Apple devices in my home, otherwise I would send myself an invoice to test it.
Hello @adamh0
We have identified the issue and replicated the issue, the development team is currently working on a fix for this.
I will let you know when I have any more updates.
Hello @adamh0
This issue should now be resolved.
Thank you very much for all of the replies (epecially as the original post was added on a Sunday) and for resolving the issue ![]()
