hi
i have multiple quickfile accounts, and affinity account.
one of my quickfile accounts got a reminder today that the livefeed expires on 7th oct.
yesterday, i noticed one of my live feeds expired last month, and i never got the email? it also never renewed or reminded me?
ive now renewed it, and Starling bank transacttions are a month behind and not auto updated?
other bank feeds allow you to refresh and go back, but starling doesnt?
i assumed it might auto update after midnight, but it hasnt?
do i have to manually upload these?
Hi,
you can download a CSV statement file from your bank and upload it to quickfile. You are right, with starling you can not refresh the feed manually because starling works differently to most other banks. It is a kind of live feed - when transactions takes place on your starling account (completely cleared) it will automatically and almost to the same time show up in quickfile.
If you use the quickfile app, it will show reminder notifications on your phone. You may have to switch on notifications on your phone. Also, when you login to quickfile and your bank feed is due in a few days it will also show a reminder to renew the feed. It’s the same, you may have to allow notifications on your browser. There could be also a plugin or other privacy settings in your browser which block this kind of notification.
Also your starling app should show a notification when a permission from a 3rd party app is due in the next days. But it could be also down to your privacy and app notification settings.
