Directors Loan Account Missing

I can’t find DLA option anywhere on my account. I’m a registered CIC (Limited)

I’ve already searched Knowledge Base and the “help” document. The option just isn’t there.

Can I get it added to my account please?

Hello Paul

I found 2 accounts for you one is a Limited company and has a Directors Loan Account, the other is a Charity (Limited) company and this does not have a Directors Loan Account.

When setting you you company we give you the relevant nominal structure relating to that business.

In relation to your query you can create a nominal code via Reports > Chart of accounts.

A charity can have an outstanding directors’ loan account, although it will be subject to the rules of their charity constitution and requires a resolution agreed by the trustees.

Consent of the Charity Commissions may also be required.

Thanks. Seems like I messed up when creating the account. We are a Community Interest Company.
